Named after the Gaelic word for ‘sea,’ Mara delivers a wave of intense coastal influence, evoking the rugged shores and smoky tradition of Islay whisky.

From the first nosing, expect a burst of sea spray, bonfire smoke, and charred citrus, underpinned by a subtle sweetness of vanilla and toasted oak. The palate is bold and unapologetically Islay—waves of earthy peat, salted caramel, and black pepper spice crash over a rich malty core. A long, smoky finish lingers with embers of burnt heather, maritime brine, and a touch of dark chocolate, making each sip a compelling experience.
